Building and scaling the backbone of Atlassian's data layer, a high-throughput platform on DynamoDB that handles billions of requests every day. Shaping technical direction through system design reviews and delivering complex features from architecture to production. Serving as a Security Champion, triaging and resolving vulnerability tickets to keep the platform hardened against emerging threats. Driving multi-cloud support across AWS and GCP to meet evolving infrastructure demands. Improving observability and incident response through TechOps initiatives, and responding on-call to critical production issues. Partnering with product teams to streamline platform adoption and elevate the developer experience across the organization.

Joined the data infrastructure team and quickly took ownership of critical platform features. Shipped soft delete capabilities and built telemetry features that aggregate platform data into queryable formats, enabling teams to pull counts, metrics, and usage patterns at scale. Maintained data residency compliance and developed an optimized migration API used to move data across regions and tables. Extended sharding strategies to support Atlassian's growing multi-tenant architecture while upholding encryption, security, and reliability standards.

Designed and implemented a Flink transformation environment using the Table API to compute real-time product-usage analytics, calculating multi-product engagement metrics per cloud site across configurable time windows. Leveraged AWS CloudFormation to provision Kinesis Data Stream consumers and configure downstream data sinks. Participated in full Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, story grooming, and retrospectives.
